Community Education Foundation (CEF) will bring awareness to the public on domestic violence, foster care and adoption, and the homeless. Your support and partnership can assist (CEF) Thu our "Listening 2 America" community conversations, providing temporary housing for women with children who are victims of domestic violence, providing low income foster care parents and the Department of Social Services with clothing, school supplies and Christmas gifts for children ages 1 - 17 years, and providing warm clothing, blankets, dental supplies to the homeless.
Educating the America public on policy issues and awareness in a manner the community can understand and helping those who at times just need that small helping hand is a goal we can accomplish together with your generous contribution of $5, $10, $15, $25, $50, $100, $250, or any other amount.
Community Education Foundation (CEF), in conjunction with corporate and small business partners will host "Listening 2 America" community conversations, January, 2020 through November, 2020.
The "Listening 2 America" community conversations & day parties will bring together City Council, Mayoral and U.S. Congressional candidates to share their views with the American public on local and national public policy issues, followed by enjoying hot and cold food buffet and entertainment by local recording artist's and D. J. 'S.
The "Listening 2 America" community conversations & concerts will bring together political leaders, City Council, Mayoral and U.S. Congressional candidates to share their views with the public on local and national publc policy issues, followed by enjoyng hot and cold food buffet and listening to performances by local and national Gospel, Jazz and R & B local & national recording artist's.
The "Listening 2 America" community conversations & crab Feast will bring together political leaders, City Council, Mayoral and U.S. Congressional candidates to share their views with American public in a interactive conversation on local and national public policy issues, followed by enjoying Maryland crabs from the bay, steamed shrimps, oysters on the half shell, claims, crab cakes, crab legs, fried fish, hot and cold food buffet, beer, assorted soda's, fresh lemonade, ice cold tea, coffee statons with regular & decaf and listening to performances by local and national recording artist's.
The local issues that will be discussed during the "Listening 2 America" community conversations are: Adoption & Foster Care (abortion alternative), Education (expand the voucher system, create more charter schools, close unsafe and under-performing schools), Public Safety (rebuild public trust, increase neighborhood watch groups, promote faith - based participation, develop a military block plan for the city), Jobs (cut the red tape to start a business in the city, section III vendor contract set aside), Infrastructure (lead pipe abatement in schools, fix crumbling water system, fix pot holes), Increase Home-ownership (create a transitional home-ownership model to go from apartment to co - opt to condo to home-ownership, enforce quality of life statues, property taxes, water bills, vacant homes & buildings).
The national issues that will be discussed during the "Listening 2 America" community conversations are: Economy & Jobs, Education, Environment, Gun Control & School Safety, Health Care , Immigration & Citizenship, Medicare/Medicaid, National Debt & Balancing the Budget, Prescription Drugs, Social Security, Taxes.
Each "Listening 2 America" community conversation will be streamed live via CEF, Face book, You Tube, Clear Channel and Radio One websites throughout the United States.
